Cockeysville Girls Soccer
(Since 1985)

About us

Welcome to the Cockeysville Girls Soccer, a program in the Cockeysville Office of the Department of Recreation and Parks, Baltimore County, Maryland. Separated from the boys program in 1985, the girls program began with six teams and 90 players and has since grown to over 28 teams and 400 participants. The program’s vision is to be a premier girls soccer program in Baltimore County. The program is committed to providing a fun, safe and positive learning experience, developing accomplished soccer skills and tactics, developing participants’ appreciation of the game and developing teamwork.

The cornerstones to the success of the program are the coaches and the all-volunteer soccer committee. The program is always looking for volunteer help and encourages parents to get involved and help support the program.

The program wishes to thank all the volunteers who have dedicated their time and effort for the betterment of the program and acknowledges the following persons who have served as the girls’ soccer program chairpersons:

John Miller, Carl Truxel, Craig Slotke, Ed Stewart, Rick Thompson, Jeff Zerhusen and Noel Chesser
